LISTENER COMMENTS:
This song has a quiet comfort in it, even as it looks clearly at our brief passage.
- Michael C., Toronto
Enjoy the feeling - light and airy ; enjoyed the lyrics and of course the sound of the 'finger picking' -- what determination to keep creating in these times - Bravo!
- Sekai S., Montreal
Beautiful song! Recreates the cocooned yet suspended feeling of reverie... as we fly...
- Suzanne S., Montreal
I like this song in particular... It has that admission of despair which is often potent. When I was down in Montreal during the seventies, there was a strong folk movement that hadn't yet petered. The pure laine folk and rock bands have always kept an audience. However, in those days, the more wistful sounds of 60s-inspired music was still in the air. This is a reminder of happier if turbulent days.
- Ross M., Toronto
I particularly like the softness you allow to come through here...
- Davetta F., Montreal
I am partial to "pensive" ...I find your voice pure and I like the way your voice and guitar work together.
- Zav L., Montreal
What a beautiful song Brian, thank you, and keep doing what you do so incredibly well👍😊🎶
- Janice G., Montreal
Very nice! I get the feeling of the plane floating on a swell of air. Another verse perhaps?
- Martin C., Montreal
Brian's response: Thanks, Martin. Nothing came, and it feels done. I think too of the baggage restrictions on planes. More weight might bring it down! :)
In any case, lovely and very evocative.. I love flying.. got my pilot's license before my driver's at 16. Took a crash course.. lol - Martin C. Montreal
You definitely took me back to being in the airplane here,
especially one of those solitary flights in the window seat. I should listen to this song when I go on a flight, because I imagine it'll be perfect. It's really beautiful! I am looking forward to how you'll put together an album with all these singles.
- Kaoru M., Montreal
I'm a sucker for slow, uncluttered, lyrical songs, so I really enjoyed this one, with its imagery of flight.
- Joshua L., Montreal
This song actually made me teary-eyed. I’m not sure if it was the lyrics, the music or perhaps both that evoked a feeling of melancholy but your song certainly hit the mark. So well done and thanks for sharing!
- Sharon C., Pierrefonds, Quebec
Severe goosebumps.
