Shades of Dave Van Ronk I thought... how you use your voice - alternating between a softer, smoother singing voice and a rougher, gruffer talking voice. And a very expressive guitar. I'm not a cat person, they seem so aloof and unexpressive, but you seem to capture something about relating to cats, more about admiring them than actually interacting. Anyway, nice work!

That song really picks you up. I do think of that lovely, enigmatic cat which you must dearly miss, especially now. You have a very professional studio working with you. It's hard to believe the quality of work that can be done without a record label behind it. Some progress has been great and it's democratic. Your guitar playing has also reached a high level. Hahaha oh Brian! Your song made me laugh. It was the highlight of the day! Thank you!! So I listened to it with one of my cats (Scruffy), and he was DEFINITELY listening, looking around with his ear up at every chorus.
And at the end where you ooofed and hissed he got up and came to my computer. Apparently, this song is super exciting for our feline friends.
Was that meow at the end Misha's? ...Such a lovely cover picture for the song. I'll try to see if our other cat wants to listen to it as well. :)
P.S, A week later: My Purrfect Lover chorus is too catchy to ignore - I sing it sometimes when cooking. It's in our subliminal minds now!
